Be part of this historic county-wide worship celebration—faith, family, freedom. Learn how you and your church can join.

Wise County Judge J.D. Clark has invited churches across the county to unite in celebration of faith and freedom as part of America’s 250th anniversary observance.

ONE NATION UNDER GOD – AMERICA 250

A Historic County-Wide Worship Gathering

Sunday, April 12, 2026 | 5:00 PM | Wise County, Texas

For the first time in Wise County’s history, churches from across our county are coming together in one unified gathering to celebrate "faith, family, and freedom as part of America’s 250th birthday celebration.

This is more than an event.
It is a historic moment.

As Wise County joins the nationwide commemoration of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence, we are setting aside this evening to honor the One who has sustained our nation for 250 years. Together, believers from every corner of Wise County will gather publicly and joyfully to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and celebrate the freedom to worship that has shaped our communities for generations.

This powerful evening will include:

  • A celebration of God’s faithfulness in our past, present, and future

   • Unified worship led by multiple churches

   • A clear and hope-filled Gospel message

   • Prayer over our families, leaders, and nation

   • A visible demonstration of Christian unity

This gathering reflects Jesus’ prayer in the Bible (John 17:21) — that we would be one — so the world may believe.

Wise County is uniquely positioning this America 250 celebration to publicly honor our spiritual heritage and the freedom to worship in the United States. While communities across the nation will celebrate history, Wise County will also celebrate the Lordship of Christ over our lives and our land.

If you are part of a local church, we warmly encourage you to share this opportunity with your pastor and leadership. Our heart is simple — that every Bible-believing church in Wise County would feel welcomed, valued, and invited to stand together in unity. This is not about promoting one church, but about lifting up one Name.

Bring your family.
Invite your neighbors.
Come ready to worship.
Come ready to stand in unity.
Come ready to be part of history.

Faith. Family. Freedom.
One Nation Under God.

A Word to Pastors

You are invited!

Pastors, we deeply honor the weight you carry in shepherding your congregation. This evening is not about spotlighting any one church, but about standing shoulder to shoulder as the Body of Christ in Wise County.

If you sense the Lord leading your fellowship to participate, we would be grateful to have you represented—whether through attendance, prayer, serving, or helping spread the word. Our heart is simple: to lift up Jesus together in visible unity and to demonstrate that the churches of Wise County are stronger when we stand as one.

You are valued, your church matters, and your presence would be a blessing to this historic moment.
